My book is finally done, and back from the publisher. And might I add that it looks great. I chose to go with a dark charcoal cover to match the theme of the inside. The pictures came out looking crisp, and the full bleed is well proportioned. I finally came up with a consistent pattern inside. Every other spread has text on it. It allows for some spreads to just showcase pictures, and for the others to have a brief explanation as to their significance.
Generally the purpose of the book it to showcase and explain some of the photography principles that I have learned about, and give an example of how I have implemented them in the last few months to get better shots. I end with a statement about what art really is about. In short, it is a book that tells readers what I have learned, may in turn teach them a thing or two, and showcases some of my more quality images.
